Sculpture & Custom Art Casting
Since 1967, the artists and artisans at Excalibur Bronze Art Foundry have been creating the highest quality sculpture and art castings. Below is a small sampling.
"The Golden Mean" by Carole Feuerman
Completed in 2014, this 16 foot tall monumental, ultra-realistic figure was cast, assembled and finished by Excalibur. It is now on display at the Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill, NY. Cast bronze with stainless steel internal supports and stainless steel pedestal.
“EXAMEN” sculpted by the the husband and wife team of Jeremy Leichman and Joan Benefiel at Figuration Studio and cast and assembled by Excalibur Bronze
Cast bronze, polychrome patina on stone base. “Examen” is a trenchant physical portrayal of the philosophical and theological teachings of Saint Ignatius Loyola depicting two identical, detailed and realistic lifesize bronze figures of Saint Ignatius closely regarding and investigating each other in an endless process of deep self-examination in pursuit of a noble and moral existence. It is a permanent installation on the campus of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
“Canto III” by Wafaa Bilal - Detailed, moulded, cast, assembled and polished by Excalibur Bronze.
"Supreme Sultan" by Patricia Crane
This larger-than-lifesize monument to a legendary sire of champion horses, "Supreme Sultan" was enlarged, cast, finished and mounted by Excalibur Bronze. It is installed at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY. Cast bronze on poured stone pedestal.

Brooklyn Bridge Commemorative Plaques by Excalibur Bronze
Completed in the mid-1980's, these cast bronze plaques span hundreds of feet and are currently installed along the pedestrian walkways around the pediments of the Brooklyn Bridge. The plaques were sculpted, moulded, cast, assembled, engraved and finished by Excalibur Bronze. They remain on the bridge today, where they have been viewed by millions of pedestrians and tourists.

Helmsley Building (230 Park Ave.) Commemorative Train Plaques by Joan Benefiel
Completed in 2008-2009, these bronze plaques were sculpted, moulded, cast, finished fitted and installed by Excalibur based on a painting provided by the client. They are installed in the lobby of 230 Park Ave. in New York City to commemorate the prior existence of rail yards servicing Grand Central Station that used to surround the building.

Nassau County Vietnam War Monument by Joan Benefiel
Standing 14 feet tall, this monument was commissioned for installation in the Eisenhower Park Veterans' Memorial in East Meadows. Encased between the giant clasped bronze soldiers' hands hang like-scaled bronze dog tags . Excalibur enlarged, cast, assembled and finished the monument. Cast bronze hands with fabricated cast dog tag chain and granite pedestal.
"The Owl of the Desert" by Joshua D. Gold
Completed in 2016, this bronze and wood sculpture stands 36" high and incorporates a moving visor. It was sculpted by Excalibur artists and moulded, cast and assembled at Excalibur. Cast bronze on reclaimed wood base.
"Tusk" by Dean Hamerly
Sculpted in 2016 by an Excalibur artist and cast and assembled at Excalibur. Cast bronze with enamel finish.
"Revertibrate" by Joshua D. Gold
Completed in 2016 and standing over 6 feet tall and crafted out of cast bronze, mica plate and polyurethane rubber, "Revertibrate" was sculpted by an Excalibur Artist and cast, assembled and finished in its entirety at Excalibur Bronze.
